BT Class Preparation
One day in advance, BT notifies BL about the next day’s class. (Reminder text – set an alarm.)
Reminder:
Could we meet tomorrow?
Korea: Wednesday 12:00 PM (KST)
USA: Tuesday 8:00 PM (PDT)
Before Class
BT sends BL the Google Meet link 10 minutes before class and joins the meeting 5 minutes early to wait for BL.
BT helps BL participate smoothly in class using a computer or phone.
Class order
Begin with prayer.
“We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
After praying, the memory verse is recited first by BL, then by BT.
John Memory Verse Example
John 1:12 – Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
After reciting, BT reads the Bible and BL follows along.
After 30 minutes of reading, BT sends a message to BL including:
the lesson number,
the memory verse,
and today’s passage.
Example Message:
Today’s Lesson
Lesson: 1
Memory Verse: John 1:12
Passage: John 1:1–12
Next Meeting
Korea: 10/8 (Tue) 12:00 PM
USA: 10/7 (Mon) 8:00 PM
After BL checks the message, BT ends the class with prayer.
BT completes and submits the BT Report.
Note
Set an alarm reminder one day in advance (with parents’ cooperation).
Optionally, print the Bible passage and preview it by dividing it into short reading segments.
Prepare everything before class begins (water, restroom, etc.).
All classes must be held in the group chat (parent participation required).
If a class cannot be held due to unavoidable reasons, politely ask for understanding and, if possible, reschedule a make-up class.
BL and BT do not interpret or teach the Bible; they only read it together.
All classes use BibleGateway (NIV or NLT version).
Textbook order: John → Genesis → Matthew → Luke → Mark
For scholarship recipients, use any of these after Class 4: Venmo, Zelle, Check, PayPal, etc.
All Spanish-speaking classes use BibleGateway Español (RVR1960).
